Well today was an ultra low for me. I met with a new Neurosurgeon about my symptoms for my pseudo tumor situation. I have been having some episodes with my health again and I felt I needed a second opinion on things. Well this Neurosurgeon was not good, not good at all.
In no uncertain terms he called me crazy. He stated that people with pseudo tumor tend to be a little sensitive about their symptoms and tend to "OVER REACT!" I left that office more scared and angry than I have ever been. I am so sick of not getting answers, of no one knowing what is going on with me. I so wish this was a cut and dry case but apparently, as the doc said today, pseudo tumor is hard to understand and no one knows much about it.
He went on to talk about all the ways this disease could hurt me and potentially kill me. But nothing to worry about because the symptoms I describe are not them. And now they say that this high pressure has nothing to do with losing vision in my right eye!
All in all today was a waste of my co-pay really!

I'm sorry. It's awful not to have answers or health care providers who who even seem to care. It gets really old.
Wow Nicole, that's so sad that the doctor treated you that badly. When my brother was sick it took him 2 episodes totalling about 3 months of him being debilitated to actually get answers. Healthcare people can be quite difficult if they don't have the right heart and mindset.
I'm praying for you and hope God helps you through this and makes all that pressure go away.
We need to get you a good doctor...let me look around.
your AoH team loves you and is praying for you.
You are crazy... but not about your symptoms.... that is why I LOVE you my friend...
I am the crazy caller
I can't believe that! I hear K's stories of Dr.'s all the time and it makes me cringe.
I wouldn't have paid my co-pay and time to get a new DOC!
