Hope. We all have hope in something. That something will happen for us or those around us. We hope for dreams to come true. We have hopes and dreams for the future. But what does hope really mean?
In Romans 5:3-4 "Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
I never really looked at that verse as a hopeful verse. But all of those things result in hope. We can rejoice in our sufferings because ultimately it produces hope through perseverance and character. So when things seem hopeless and the suffering is to great God is teaching us how to produce hope in our lives.
It is never easy. Having hope when things do not make sense is hard. I don't know how to explain it but with all that life has thrown at me I still hope and believe in Jesus and the hope I have in him makes all the other stuff worth going through.
