First of Many

Well, this is my blog. A collage of random thoughts and feelings. A few friends have encouraged me to start blogging and so I am. I must admit this is a totally new concept for me. But as most of you know words come easy to me!

The day is coming to a close and as I reflect on the past week I am reminded of what God is doing around me. Sometimes life doesn't make sense. Sometimes He doesn't do what we think is best but He is still God and He KNOWS what is best better than us. A week ago today there was a great loss. A friend I never knew but prayed for often and cared about deeply went home to be with the Lord. Misty Leblanc, though I only knew her through her husband's blog http://leblanclife.com/, I felt connected to her. She was an inspiration to me and to my faith in God. Her life reminds me that faith in Christ is of the essence as we walk through life's adventures. My blog is named Life Adventures because even though life has its ups and downs God still carries us. Darren told us of how Misty allowed God to carry her through life. She followed Him no matter the suffering, in good times and bad. I only hope my life can reflect that same love and passion.
